we walked to a christmas tree farm lot just to smell the trees.
we love our artificial tree but nothing beats a real one...some day we'll go cut our own down like i did growing up.
my parents still go out and cut down their own tree.

Evan and I both really wanted to have real trees just like we had had growing up, yet we have never done it and this is our 12th Christmas! Fake ones are too darn convenient. We take the kids every few years just to smell the trees too :) This year they got to see reindeer while we were there. I love the smell of fresh cut Christmas trees! Someday . . .
