in case you hadn't heard, this little babe inside me is a girl!
we are very excited.
i've already started making headbands and bows.
and we've bought a few outfits, i just can't resist.
our crib is on it's way to us! after having a huge mental breakdown and thirty minute sob session {every store that carried the crib was OUT OF STOCK}, I found one and got it!
i can feel miss baby move! i actually have been able to for several weeks, which is early, but it's definitely her. russell was able to feel her once too, it was a very special moment for both of us.
we already love her so much and sometimes Christmas can't come soon enough.
my belly is growing exponentially. the word FAT is a four letter word in our house. as is the phrase, "you are getting big."
i often wonder if my body will ever be the same. i stare at the pants hanging in my closet and frantically try to find one that will fit {only one can still be buttoned}. russell found me sitting on the floor in the closet the other day, surrounded by pants that no longer fit. i love being pregnant, but who wants to give up their favorite pairs of jeans?
as far as names go, we are pretty settled on one. but no we will not be sharing it. we've always had a running list of names but this one popped in my head a few weeks ago and neither of us can stop thinking about. it's not set in stone, but it's definitely our top pick right now.
we're so grateful for all the support we have here from friends and from our families far away. so many of my friends are pregnant and its comforting to know i'm not the only one feeling and thinking the crazy things that often float through my mind.

Glad you are so excited, not that I expected anything different :) You're right, you probably won't ever be exactly the same (though YOU will probably be as good as humanly possible) but would you really ever have it any other way? Enjoy "Little Miss" moving around and can't wait to see your baby bump (or is that a four letter word too) soon.
Can't wait for baby girl stephens! Funny Change if events.....I have a pair of maternity jeans that I miss wearing! Ha! Who would have thought!
You are adorable Mandy! And don't worry, you will get back to your old self! You will be surprised how fast the weight comes off. Enjoy being pregnant right now, cuz once you have her you will miss those little kicks!
