Utah State University Dietetic Internship

I'm not sure why I was waiting to post about this, especially since it's the biggest news for us right now. I was accepted as an Intern back in April and the reality is just beginning to set in. If you remember from an earlier post, I applied to 4 different schools. Utah State was my first choice but I had completely talked myself out of the idea of getting accepted. I was the very last student to interview and I felt confident that I did well but I knew that only FOUR students would be accepted. In my mind I told myself we were moving to Tennessee (Vanderbilt was my second choice and I knew my odds of being accepted there were high). When the night came for us to find out, Russell listened to my heart beat and said "It's normal, are you not nervous?" I then listened to his heart and it was racing so fast! At that point I told myself that if I wasn't accepted, then it was meant to be that way. But I was accepted and I couldn't believe it. It was truly an answer to our prayers and a deliverance from a trial that started in December. I am so grateful for this opportunity! I begin the internship November 2nd, but with orientation a few weeks away I'm keeping busy with lots of homework! (I thought that would end after graduation, darn!) Here's a pic after I found out I was accepted...I think I was in shock.

Congratulations! That is so great; I am an Aggie myself :) You will be great at that, and Logan is WAY closer than TN!

Congrats! You deserve it! :) And that means that you're still in UT! You need to meet Jeff, I need to re-meet Russell, and most important....I need to see YOU!
