I told Russell I really wanted bleach trays for my birthday! And WA LAA!

Well the making of these was NOT so good...for me!


I was really loving this.
And then to top it all off, my upper palate is so peaked and the suction was so strong it took FOREVER to get the cast out of my mouth.

I was screaming.

Russell was laughing.

Valuable lesson learned: don't ever laugh at your patient!

my first gift

i had some time off work around my birthday and russell happened to have a day off from school. so when asked what i wanted to do to start celebrating i said lets go to the....


we started the day off with a yummy ihop breakfast @ huntington beach.

lathered on so much sunscreen that neither of us got any color {except for half of my face-i fell asleep}.

listened to the BYU game.

read books/magazines.

scarfed down a fish taco for me & an ice cream cone for russell.

and had the best free parking spot.







russell gets to go to beach on thursday. i'm beyond jealous.

This is now my age. Two. Five. I've been secretly looking forward to being twenty five for a little while now. A few weeks before my birthday someone asked me how old I was and I said twenty five- -and then thought, 'that sounded so cool.' I feel like twenty five is a legitimate age. Especially when most people think I look sixteen.

I have big plans for this year of life. This could be my best year yet.

Jenae's Baby Shower

Our closest neighbors {literally. they're just two doors down!}, Mike & Jenae Evans just had an adorable little baby girl-Audrey Marie!

But before she was born we had a cute little shower for her @ our place.

The night before the first year girls came over to help me prep and decorate! There's no way this would have happened without them!

The morning of! Can I just publicly say how stressful planning this shower was!? I've thrown a couple bridal showers and helped plan my SIL's baby shower but this was a totally different ball game-it was at MY house and 50 people were invited! I think the stress really came from knowing so many people were going to see our place for the first time and I wanted every little detail to be perfect. I made this huge To-Do List and worked on it for a month and still didn't get everything done that I wanted. But I have to say, doing this for Jenae was SO fun! We have such great friends here that rally together to support each other!

We were all so proud that our first dental school baby shower was a success!

February EAT: It's Amore

It is the END of March. I am a terrible blogger. I've just had no desire to blog lately and I'm only doing this because Russell kicked me out of the kitchen and told me to.

We made homemade pizzas for EAT in February and once AGAIN I failed to take pictures of any food. Again, terrible blogger.

I think the menu was:
Margarita Pizza
BBQ Chicken Pizza
Pepperoni Pizza
Fruit Pizza
and some de-licous cheesy breadsticks

I did manage to take pictures of people though!
