Roughin' It!

We decided it was time to take a trip to Russell's family's cabin! Matt and Stacy came along for the ride and we had a great time. It rained a little but that couldn't deter us from hiking, four-wheeling, making smores, and cooking tin foil dinners, mmmm mmmm!

Ready to hit the road!

Crossing the state line

The boys found Grandpa's sweet jackets

Making a fire the first night was a challenge. Water had pooled in the bottom of the fire pit...so Matt shoveled it out!

Finally got it going...

and we roasted some marshmallows!

After a pancake breakfast the next morning we revved up the four wheelers

Russell found some bow's and arrows and we took turns shooting at the wood pile

This was taken about 5 seconds before Stacy shot me in the arm! HAHA It was pretty funny!

Just one of the amazing views! It was so great to get away for the weekend! Thanks for coming with us Matt & Stacy, we had a blast!

Happy Birthday Katie!

My friend Katie turned 22 a little while ago and we had a little party at work!
These are my three work buddies...we have lots of fun together...

Twilight Trailer

Have you seen it yet? I watched it several times in a row...check it out here.

Who wants to go with me??????

Another Step Closer

Last week: USU Dietetic Internship Orientation
My feelings from the week...

Utterly Exhausted: How I felt after the first day and actually everyday
Overwhelmed: Realizing how much more work this would be than I thought
Grateful: To be able to do my entire Internship in Utah, I'm so lucky!
Relieved: After giving my presentation on Conflict Management, the Director said it was the best presentation they'd had on the topic in years!
Intelligent: BYU's program taught me way more than I realized and where others struggled I felt confident in my abilities

Day 1, 2 & 3. We forgot to take one on Day 4!
-It was difficult to smile this early in the morning-

I forgot my camera every day so I snagged these from facebook, I'll post more when the BYU girls put there's up

We won Lava Lava's at the Luau lunch the last day

No one's posted the "normal" picture, only the "Vogue" one!

J-Dawgs

We've been long time fans of J-Dawgs, but we rarely go unless my parents are in town (it's always on the laundry list of places to eat)! But we went the other night and mmm, mmm, mmm nothing can quite compare to a J-Dawg!

Chuga Chuga Choo Choo!

Over Memorial Day weekend we drove to Tooele to see Russell's aunt and visit the cemetery where many of Russell's family members are buried. While the "adults" did genealogy inside we had some fun with the kids!

Russell even learned to drive it, although the boys felt Russell went too fast!
