HOLY COW

There are a million and one posts below. You have to click OLDER POSTS at the bottom of the page to see all of them....yes there are that many!

Brigham Young University Graduation 2009

We finally graduated! It was such an awesome day. So many people came to share it with us, it was unbelievable. Thank you everyone for your support, love, gifts, cards and everything! We love you all!

We started graduation festivities off with a reception for the Dietetics Program. It really helped me to have closure with the program and realize this was really happening, I was really graduating!

Later that day was Convocation at the Marriott Center, with all the BYU graduates. Elder Nelsen and President Uchtdorf spoke, it was amazing. Here are some pics from afterwards.

I've decided there are WAY too many pictures to post, so please check them out on facebook! You can also find pics from after Commencement and other grad festivities there!

Ashley & Andrew's Wedding

Ashley and Andrew got married April 22nd! Yay! Here are some pics from the prep. I constructed the food table, but forgot to take a picture.

Doesn't look much like a gym, does it?

We lounged, admiring the decorations!

Bright and early the next morning, the getting ready was under way! I had the privilege of doing Ashley's hair and makeup!

Here are some pics from the reception...

Dede-This picture is for you!

Finals OVER

We went out to Thai Kitchen with Matt and Stacy after all my finals were over! We had to snap a pic to capture the moment, it was great!

Recent Craft Projects

I worked on these projects over General Conference Weekend

I made these pencil holders for my friends at work

Tiff gave me these mirrors several years ago. They were cream at the time, I first painted them black but then decided I didn't like it, so I repainted them brown.

Now they are going to be hung in our bedroom, below this sign....

Not the best picture, but you get the gist!

Hoppy Easter!

We spent Easter weekend with Russell's family! We dyed eggs and hid them for the kids, it was way fun!

Making egg salad sandwiches...yum!

Hiding eggs!

Here are some black and white shots I snapped....

Ashley's Bridal Shower

Ashley is now married but we did throw a shower for her awhile back. Spencer was a great help while opening the presents, and wanted to be in all the pictures-it was pretty cute!

Ashley is wearing a crown that says "Bride to Be"...I've passed this crown down from my bridal shower, to Britanny's and now to Ashley!

Birthday: Round 2

We also celebrated my birthday as well as my neice Sophia's birthday over the weekend! Sophia was born on my birthday last year, and is now a year old!

I love this picture!

And she loved her cupcake!

Happy Birthday to Me.....

I am finally blogging again and there is so much to write about. We'll start with the oldest stuff, my 23rd birthday!

My birthday was full of SO many surprises, as usual. My mom flew in Thursday and as I was putting her bags in the trunk, a man walked by asking for the time...it was my DAD! haha. We then went shopping and out to eat. We then surprised Russell by sneaking my dad into the house while we were unloading the car...it was hilarious! Friday we shopped and I had a soccer game that evening....when I was subbed out a guy came up behind me asking if I wanted some water...and it was my BROTHER!

The moment of surprise!

Yes I played with my glasses on...I'm going blind, I swear!

After the game we went to get J-dawgs and yet another surprise...I opened a box full of candy, popcorn and junk food and was told we were headed to Alta for the rest of the weekend...

Saturday, my birthday, we went skiing....I hadn't been on ski's since middle school! I picked up snowboarding along with my brother and vowed to never go back but after a few runs on ski's I was liking it...not loving it though!

View from the condo

We went out to Famous Dave's for dinner that night...note Russell's very burnt face :)

The gang

And of course we had to play guitar hero....

It was a GREAT birthday weekend!

Reflections of Christ

This was recently put out by the church to help missionary efforts around the world.
We thought it was beautiful...

A sad day at the Daily Universe...

I thought it smart for my family and friends to hear this from me before biased journalists around the country informed them.

A copy editor made this sad mistake on the front cover of the Daily Universe on Monday. The article is recounting the weekends sessions of General Conference. I experienced some shock when Russell pointed this out, but then we just laughed! Although critics of the church are having a hay-day, we'll try to laugh it off as a simple mistake. It's nice to know that none of us are perfect.
