Summer Days....

I just finished all my homework for the week and before I start studying for a test I thought I'd blog....yes that's also called procrastination but I figure this will only take a minute or 10. I've been missing summer lately. We swam and tanned almost every day after work, went running at 8 or 9 and it wasn't dark yet and we literally rode our bikes everywhere....here's one stop we made courtesy of my parents....mmmm Jdawgs!

I was a little over velous

This is when my hair was darker too, since my parents and the Shakespeare's are the only ones that saw it!

Kylee & Kennedy

Here's a video from our vacation in WA. I still dont have pictures from my parents camera so I dont want to post yet but I do have all the pics from our awesome day at the beach with the Shakespeare's! Due to lack of time I'm only posting one video right now-it makes me laugh, they're just so cute!

Random Act of INCREDIBLE Kindess....

Ok, so I dont have time to be doing this...my homework is still undone and sitting next to me but I just have to post this........

Our first intramural girls soccer game was tonight (put together a ward team). The other team ended up forfeiting so we scrimmaged with them instead. Side Note: Our team is going to be awesome, to be completely honest I was shocked! Oh wait, I have to back up, first off I rode my bike to the game for a lil warm up. Russell had class til eight and then a city league softball team right after so I knew I wouldn't see him....back to the story, we stop playing and I sit to take off my gear when I glance outside and notice that it's not just dark, but pitch black outside! And I think to myself, if I ride home I might die! So in a panic I call Russell hoping he's not at his game yet but to my dismay he was about to start and he couldn't leave because he is the pitcher. So out of no where a husband and wife who I do not know but are in our ward interrupt my frantic phone call and tell me they will take me home. So I'm thinking great, they must have a truck or something and are going to throw my bike in the back.....NO! Her husband takes my bike from me and when we get outside he gets on it!!! I wish I could have seen the look on my face because I'm sure it was priceless! He asks which apartment I'm in and before I could object he was off! His wife Esther took me home and about two minutes later (he was super speedy) he knocked on the door with my bike in hand! So thank you Jared and Esther for being so kind and going above and beyond the call of duty! I'm seriously blown away and still in shock!

So in case this crazy world has left you thinking there aren't nice people out there....there are and sometimes in the oddest of places!

Creighton University

An interview! Russell went to a presentation today by a man from Creighton University...there were only 2 people there. Afterwards he talked with Russell and ended up interviewing him. He had a list of all the Utah applicants and found Russell and his stats. Russell wasn't ready for a formal interview, (good thing he dressed up!) but he feels it went well...the guy even asked for his number, so I guess we'll see. Please pray for us!
